(Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) — Yesterday, Donald Trump issued an executive order promoting the domestic production of glyphosate, an ingredient in weedkillers that has been targeted by tens of thousands of lawsuits—including by Robert F. Kennedy. Despite this, RFK Jr. immediately supported Trump’s decision. 314 Action President Shaughnessy Naughton released the following statement in response:
“If Donald Trump gave RFK Jr. a glass of Kool-Aid, he’d drink it. The President just undermined the MAHA movement, yet again. RFK Jr. has made his work against pesticides the backbone of the MAHA movement, but immediately abandoned the position when Trump sided with Big Ag.
“As long as he bends his knee to the White House, Trump will allow RFK Jr. to ‘run wild.’ He’ll sell out the health of the American people if it buys him more influence, putting millions of lives at risk to further his own agenda. That’s why 314 Action is working to elect pro-science leaders who will stand up to Trump and RFK Jr. to protect our nation’s public health.”

Since his nomination, 314 Action has been a leader in holding RFK Jr. accountable and continues the work through an ongoing seven-figure accountability campaign. 314 Action led the calls for his resignation and investigation into his HHS.
